Center for Ethics and Health Humanities to Host Panel Discussion Nov. 7 In Person/Online Focused on Disability Accommodations at Disney

A panel discussion with three disability rights experts will be held Monday, Nov. 7 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Gonzales Auditorium in the Liberal Arts Building on The University of Â鶹´«Ã½ (Â鶹´«Ã½) Hattiesburg campus, focused on lawsuits brought against Disney involving disability accommodations regarding the theme park’s rides.

The panel will feature three prominent disabilities scholars, including Kevin Mintz of the Stanford University Center for Bioethics; Leslie Francis, a distinguished professor at the University of Utah College of Law; and Adam Cureton, professor of philosophy at the University of Tennessee. The panelists will be joined by Andy Dogali, a lawyer representing some of the plaintiffs suing Disney over its accommodations policies.
