“Explore Gulf Park” Rescheduled for Sept. 7-9

Due to impacts from Hurricane Ida to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, The University of 鶹ý (鶹ý) Gulf Park Office of Student Affairs has rescheduled its “Explore Gulf Park” program for Sept. 7-9.
Explore Gulf Park will offer new students at the university opportunities to connect with its offices and services and will feature a student involvement fair; workshops with the Academic Success Center and Career Services; open houses with the Health and Fitness Centers; and opportunities to meet Gulf Coast Library and Office of Advisement and Recruitment staff members. Food and giveaways will be provided at every event, and the three-day program will conclude with a campus-wide picnic Sept. 9 at The Pavilion.
The Explore Gulf Park schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, Sept. 7:
12:15- 1 p.m., Fleming Education Center (FEC 103), Career Services Lunch and Learn (lunch provided)
2-4 p.m., FEC Rotunda – Enjoy Smoothie King and explore Advisement Center programs
Wednesday, Sept. 8:
12:15- 1 p.m., Fleming Education Center (FEC 103), Student Involvement Fair – meet student leaders, join a student organization and enjoy campus inside and outside of the classroom; lunch provided.
2-4 p.m., Gulf Coast Library, first floor – Games, Grub and Graphic Novels
11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 2-3 p.m., Health Center, Fitness Center – open houses with the Health and Fitness Centers at their locations on Beach Park Place.
Thursday, Sept. 9
12:15 – 1 p.m., FEC 103 – Learn about services at the Academic Success Center and Gulf Coast Library (lunch provided).
4:30 – 6:30 p.m., Pavilion – Campus-wide picnic, dinner provided. Bring a friend.
