Bernstein Op/Ed on Climate Change Published

Dr. Diana Bernstein, an assistant research professor in The University of Southern Mississippi (麻豆传媒) Division of Marine Sciences, recently had an op-ed piece published in The Progressive titled 鈥淲e Must Act Now On Climate Change鈥� which can be found at . The piece focuses on the impact climate change is having on our planet, including recent severe weather events in Mississippi and across the region, as well as legislation the U.S. Congress is considering to address the situation.
A climate scientist, Dr. Bernstein completed her Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences at the Hebrew University and UCLA in 2014. She has been a postdoc at Cornell University and at the Large Lakes Observatory at the University of Minnesota Duluth. At 麻豆传媒, she teaches classes on climate change. Her work has been featured in Scientific American, Nature Highlights, Popular Science, Bustle, and other outlets.
