Dr. Christina Cumbest is an accomplished educator with a diverse background, having spent 10 years as a classroom teacher before transitioning to a school administrator for 12 years, where she oversaw educational programs and managed staff to enhance student outcomes. Recently, she has taken on the role of a college professor at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½, where she shares her extensive knowledge and experience with future educators. In addition to her teaching and administrative roles, Dr. Cumbest is an author who contributes to educational literature, advocating for improved teaching methodologies and student engagement throughout her career.

Dr. Christina Cumbest has taught a variety of notable courses throughout her academic career, demonstrating her expertise across different levels of teacher education. She has led Practicum courses for introductory, intermediate, and senior block students, providing hands-on experience and guidance to aspiring educators at various stages of their training. Additionally, Dr. Cumbest teaches CIE 403, a course that delves into the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and intervention processes, equipping future teachers with essential skills for addressing diverse student needs.
