Bio

​​​​​Dr. Foroughi holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, master’s degrees in Construction Management (University Technology of Malaysia), Logistics (University of Â鶹´«Ã½), and Architectural Engineering (Penn State University, University Park), and a doctor of philosophy’s degree (Ph.D.) in Architectural Engineering (Drexel University).

His research focuses on applying novel technologies (e.g., virtual reality, augmented reality, semi-augmented reality, mixed reality, vision, and non-vision sensors) in integration with BIM and Lean to improve the communication of information deliverables in construction and facility management sectors.

Dr. Foroughi has published several papers in academic journals and conferences. Besides, he has three years of experience in the US facility and construction industry.

Since August 2022, he has taught courses (Digital Graphics II; Construction Planning and Scheduling) in both face-to-face and online modes at the Â鶹´«Ã½.
