Associate Professor

Bio

I earned my M.L.S. and Ph.D. from Indiana University--Bloomington in 2013 and have strong interests in academic libraries and archives and special collections. Prior to coming to Southern Miss, I served as Instructional Librarian and Adjunct Professor of History at Washburn University. I have strong research interests in information and book history and my current scholarship centers on misinformation in closed societies and how conspiracy theories shape popular attitudes towards everyday life within military dictatorships, fascist states, and other authoritarian regimes. I am currently at work on a book manuscript tentatively titled The Power of Conspiracy: Nazi Information Worlds Between Weimar and the Third Reich.
