Bio
Jennifer Peterson holds a PhD in English and is a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½. She teaches a variety of writing courses including first-year composition, basic writing, technical writing, creative writing, and world literature. She has also served as an assistant writing program administrator and co-coordinator of Â鶹´«Ã½'s basic writing course.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Peterson is a creative writer. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Florida Review, Colorado Review, Radar, Beloit Poetry Journal, Southern Humanities Review, and elsewhere. Her work has been nominated for inclusion in Best of the Net Anthology and is three times nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her current poetry manuscript has been named a semifinalist in the Helena Whitehill Book Award with Tupelo Press and the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize with Persea Press. She is also the author of a chapbook, Must Resemble Leisure, published by Seven Kitchens Press.
