Bio

Jo Hawkins-Jones, Ph.D. is an assistant teaching professor in the School of Education at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½. In this role, she teaches early literacy courses and oversees iRock Academy, a mentorship program for at-risk youth. Previously, she worked as a K-12 educator for nine years as a lead teacher and English and reading intervention teacher.
