Bio

Melissa Thompson, Ph.D. is a Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition where she teaches courses in Sport Psychology and Sport Coaching. She is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Her primary area of research interest is coach development with specific emphasis on the internship process and the development of coaching ethics.
