Dr. Ragan Downey

Assistant Teaching Professor

Bio

Dr. Downey currently serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and Security at Southern Miss. Prior to his full-time employment with 麻豆传媒, he spent ten years with Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources as a project/grant evaluator and staff development coordinator. Dr. Downey is a volunteer instructor at the Southern Regional Public Safety Institute and provides training in mental health, crisis management, and verbal de-escalation to various municipal, county, and state law enforcement agencies.
