Bio
Dr. J. Bret Becton, PhD, became Dean and Professor of Management at The University of Â鶹´«Ã½'s College of Business & Economic Development in July 2019. Prior, he served as Dean and Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration (2017-2019). He also held roles as Associate Dean and Assistant & Associate Professor of Management at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ (2008-2017), and Assistant Professor of Management at Winthrop University (2005-2008).
Before his academic career, Dr. Becton spent over a decade as a management consultant, specializing in human resources and organizational change. His consulting expertise includes expert witness testimony, job analysis, employment testing, compensation and benefits analysis, training and leadership development, and organizational assessments.
